Book in a Day 2020 saw 5 teams of budding authors and illustrators from across the College creating stories to support the Westmead Childrens Hospital Kids Cancer Project

The College Library was buzzing last week as 5 teams across the College embraced the Book in a Day competition  Raising funds for the Kids Cancer Project linked to Westmead Childrens Hospital our students loved the chance to explore and develop their creativity  The finished works are beautiful stories of 2000 to 5000 words and are shared specifically with the children currently undertaking treatment or needing hospitalisation due to illness

This annual project moves both authors and illustrators alike.....here are some of their dedications

To whoever reads this book, the team of To Write or Not To Write wrote it for you. We wrote the whole book in just a day, hoping that those who read it would enjoy it. This book isn’t perfect but we hope that it’ll light up your day and let you know that we created this book in the hopes that you will laugh at the humorous twists, feel joy when success occurs, and hope for the better when our story’s plot builds up. We hope you enjoy this book as we created it from our very hearts. It came to attention after writing this book, ‘The Powers of Elle is a charitable foundation for a cancerous child, so we dedicate this book to all those children in hospital, we wish you all the best for the future!  (Team- To Write or not to write)
