The tension was high this afternoon, but our Year 7/8 Boys Futsal team triumphed! ⚽️ After a nail-biting 2–2 draw at the end of regular time, the boys held their nerve to claim victory in a thrilling 4–3 penalty shootout.

Our Year 6 students have returned from an exciting adventure in Canberra! 🇦🇺 Their final day was spent exploring Questacon, where hands-on learning brought science and technology to life. From interactive exhibits to practical experiments, students had an incredible time discovering new ideas and deepening their understanding of Australia’s capital city.

Today was another action-packed day for our Year 6 students, beginning bright and early with a visit to Old Parliament House, where they explored the history of democracy and elections in Australia with the Electoral Commission. Through hands-on activities in the Discovery Zone, students gained valuable insights into the electoral process and even took part in a mock vote to learn about preference allocation. While in the area, students also visited the Rose Gardens and Mount Ainslie Lookout, discovering how Canberra was designed along a central axis stretching from Mount Ainslie through Parliament House. A drive along the Embassy Circuit showcased the many High Commissions and Embassies that call the capital home. In the afternoon, students visited the National Museum of Australia to take part in the Meet the People program, exploring inspiring stories and events from Australian history. The final stop for the day was Cockington Green Gardens, where miniature buildings and beautifully landscaped gardens brought history and imagination to life. After dinner, students are looking forward to an evening of fun at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and laser tag — the perfect way to wrap up a big day of learning and adventure!

Today marks the beginning of the HSC for our Year 12 students! The College is incredibly proud of each and every one of them and wishes them the very best as they begin their exams. As part of a cherished tradition, our students ring the College bell, once to signal the start of their HSC journey, and again when they’ve completed their final exam. Good luck, Class of 2025!
