NAPLAN: What Parents Really Need to Know

Each March, families across Australia hear a lot about NAPLAN. The National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) assesses students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy. But what does it really mean for your child in 2026?

Our Stage 2 Boys team wrapped up Futsal Week with a huge win! ⚽👏 After an outstanding performance, the team finished the competition on top and have now secured their place at the State Championships later this year. A fantastic achievement – we can’t wait to see them represent the College on the next stage! 🏆🙌

On Friday, 27 February 2026, our K–12 FIAT Eco Warriors embraced the drizzle with enthusiasm as they participated in Clean Up Australia Day, proudly supporting #Blacktown City Council and @CleanUpAustralia. Students across all year levels worked side by side to remove litter from our school grounds, demonstrating outstanding teamwork and a strong commitment to protecting our environment. This hands-on experience provided a meaningful opportunity to practise the virtue of stewardship—honouring God’s creation and putting faith into action.

Outstanding achievement for our Stage 4 Boys Team! ⚽️ Undefeated at today’s NSW Futsal Gala Day, the team displayed exceptional skill, teamwork and determination throughout the tournament. Their impressive performance has secured them a place at the State Championships later this year — a fantastic accomplishment and one the entire College community is proud of.

Yesterday, the College proudly hosted our Kindergarten Open Day for students commencing in 2027. It was wonderful to welcome so many new families and see the excitement on the faces of our future students as they explored the College for the very first time. From meeting our staff to discovering our learning spaces, the afternoon was filled with curiosity, connection and community.
