Join CSPD’s Learning Outcomes team for a practical parent session focused on simple, realistic ways families can support learning at home, from primary through to secondary school.
You’ll hear practical ideas around:
- study and homework routines
- helping children retain information
- reading and learning habits
- understanding some of the teaching approaches used in today’s CSPD classrooms
We’ll also briefly unpack the “why” behind some of the changes happening in schools and explain how parents and schools can work together to support student success.
Whether your child is in primary or secondary school, this session will provide practical takeaways you can start using at home straight away.

Last week, our Kindergarten students took part in an exciting Drama Incursion! π Through immersive, hands-on activities, they explored the world of Australian native animals, dressing up as familiar creatures and bringing them to life through imaginative role play. π¦π¦ Students acted out different interactions between animals, building their confidence, creativity, and understanding of our unique wildlife in a fun and engaging way.

πββοΈ What an incredible week at our Athletics Carnival! πββοΈ Our Year 5β12 students brought the energy, enthusiasm, and house spirit to what was truly an amazing event. From thrilling races on the track to outstanding performances in the field, it was fantastic to see so many students getting involved, supporting one another, and giving their best. A sincere thank you to our students, families and staff who gathered early this morning for the Riverstone-Schofields RSL Sub-Branch Dawn Service. Each year, our students lead the singing as part of this important commemoration, and their contribution is deeply appreciated by the organisers and the wider community. The service was a moving and respectful tribute to those who have served, and those who continue to serve, our country. 2026 Australian Age Swimming Championships! πββοΈ We are proud to celebrate the achievements of two more of our students who recently competed on the Gold Coast. π π Ruby Dale (Year 8) took on an impressive program, competing in the 50m and 100m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 50m backstroke, and two relay events with her club. Despite a demanding schedule, Ruby demonstrated determination, versatility, and commitment in every race. π Olivia Dale (Year 10) also delivered a strong performance, competing in the 50m and 100m butterfly, as well as the 4 x 50m freestyle relay. Qualifying for this level is a significant achievement, and Olivia competed with confidence, focus, and outstanding sportsmanship. Competing at a national level is an incredible accomplishment, and we look forward to seeing what they both achieve next. Well done, Ruby and Olivia! π
