Snowsports Regional Championship Today marked the first day of the Snowsports Regional competitions!

๐โจ Storytelling with Symbols of Hope Our Year 6 Eagle English students have been exploring how authors use symbolism and connotation to add depth to their writing. Using these skills, they created their own storybooks featuring a powerful symbol of hope. ๐ This week, they proudly shared their creations with some of our younger students. The audience was especially impressed with the creative AI-generated illustrations, all carefully credited on each bookโs Copyright page.

Year 3 Sydney Zoo Excursion Year 3 recently enjoyed an exciting excursion to Sydney Zoo, where they explored the wonders of wildlife up close. Students took part in engaging workshops on animal classifications and had the chance to meet some special animal friends, including a turtle, a leaf insect, and a frog. They were treated to a guided tour through the nocturnal and reptile sections of the park, before setting off on a self-guided adventure through the Safari and Australian zones. The studentsโ outstanding behaviour did not go unnoticedโone of the tour guides even contacted the school to share how exceptionally well-mannered and respectful they were. It was a day filled with learning, discovery, and unforgettable memories.
